Cookies for Fasting, with Loukoumi Filling
1/3 cup of sugar
1 pack of baking powder
Orange Zest
Small Loukoumia (Turkish delights)
Preparation:
Beat the oil, the sugar and the wine in a bowl. Once the ingredients have blended add the zest, the flour and the baking powder. Mould the dough. Take a small quantity and shape into a ball, flatten with your hand, open it up a bit and place one loukoumi inside. Mould again like a ball. Bake in 200ο C for half an hour and when they are almost cool sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
